3. Honeywell Lyric T5
Honeywell’s Lyric T5 is known as the budget smart thermostat. Although it may cost less than the other ones, it still works great, and it’s Energy Star certified.
One of the best features is the geofencing technology, which keeps track of your smartphone’s location to adjust the temperature of your home when you’re on the way.
It does require a C wire to connect to the C terminal, otherwise, it won’t work.
4. Mysa Smart Thermostat
Mysa’s smart thermostat works with electric baseboards and electric fan-forced heaters. Not only will it save you energy, but also looks minimal, stylish, and modern.
It’s also important to note that it’s rated for controlling electric heating systems up to 3,800 watts and requires four or more wires.
Being one of the only smart thermostats that are built for line voltage electric heat, it’s a great one to have.
